It’s easy to just put on the television, or an electronic device with some educational apps in the hands of our kids, and hope they figure out the whole learning thing themselves, which sometimes they do, and most times they don’t. What’s difficult is sitting down and thinking through how you can intentionally and systematically teach your child something that would stick and eventually amount to them learning a new skill or gaining some knowledge of the world around them. Starting the homeschooling journey is difficult, and while we anticipate the reopening of schools to take over the educating of our children, nothing should stop us from impacting a few knowledge in them while the schools are out. A Parent's Guide To Homeschooling

Homeschooling is the education of children at home or a variety of places other than school, Wikipedia. This mode of schooling involves mostly the supervision and attention of one or both parents or a caring adult. It is the incorporation of both parenting and teaching and can be the most rewarding fact-finding, personality discovering journey you can embark on with your kids. Homeschooling is a rewarding experience for the family. It gives you a better perspective on your children’s learning patterns and you experience first hand what inspires, motivates, and excites them. Learning at home provides kids a comfortable and familiar environment to explore new things, experience a new method of learning, and achieve goals they may not necessarily be able to at school. It allows kids to develop learning independence, be more innovative, spark up their curiosity, and think deeper about solutions to everyday problems.
